The Charles Darius Paris First Edition translates the house language of sculpture, architecture and rare materials onto the face. Each frame is semi-handcrafted from premium Italian acetate in a strictly limited, individually numbered run — designed not as an accessory, but as a collector's object to keep.

TAKUMI — 匠, the Japanese word for master artisan — honours the hands that make it. A refined P3 panto cut from premium Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, designed in Paris and handmade in Japan. A timeless rounded silhouette with a gently keyed bridge and hand-finished temples — each pair semi-handcrafted and individually numbered.
A collector lens set, included. TAKUMI arrives with its signature blue reflective-gradient lens mounted, and two further lens colours — green and grey — presented alongside in the box. Three lenses in all, to change the character of the frame at will. A collector's detail rarely offered at any price.

Design Inspiration
Drawn in Paris, the First Edition frames translate the Charles Darius language of architecture and restraint onto the face. Each silhouette begins as a study in proportion — the geometry of a bridge, the line of a temple, the balance of weight and light. Two forms, two finishes; nothing added that does not serve the whole.

Materials & Craftsmanship
Each frame is cut and polished from premium Italian acetate and hand-assembled in Japan by master artisans. Fronts are milled, bevelled, and tumbled over successive stages to draw out depth of colour and a fluid, tactile finish. Metal components are set by hand for precise articulation, and every hinge, rim, and temple is refined until the frame sits with quiet balance.
Exclusivity & Production
The First Edition is produced in a strictly limited run of 150 individually numbered pieces per colourway.
Frames are released by pre-order and made in small batches, ensuring rarity and minimising waste.
Owing to the artisanal nature of acetate, subtle variation in pattern and tone is inherent to each piece and unique to it.
Care & Longevity
Store your frames in their protective case when not worn.
Clean the lenses with the supplied microfibre cloth; for the acetate, use lukewarm water and a soft cloth, avoiding heat, solvents, and abrasive surfaces.
Periodic adjustment or lens service can be arranged through our atelier to keep the fit and finish at their best.
